It only strikes me now, when I am all grown up, that life is complicated. Thinking back, remembering my childhood, it all seemed so easy. No bills, no work, no relationships. Life was plain, or so it seemed, but the world of a child is never plain. It is as if they look at the world through different eyes, eyes that change over the years and start to miss all the subtle details of the world.
Every now and then it feels so wonderdul to just go out and take a hike or go for a run and look at the world around you. Take the time to see and not rush by on our way from one point to the next. Have a good look at the sparrow that rolls through the warm sand and feel the power of the waves in an autumn storm. Let these things amaze you, go back to your roots and even though maybe for a moment, life will feel blissfully uncomplicated.

Crazy that as children, we don't have any patience to enjoy the things that as adults we try to emulate our childhood with.. i wonder if we could relive a memorable childhood moment, it may be not as great as we remembered it.. like watching a movie you loved when you were younger and then thinking.. how did i actually like this crap. Also, it would be fun to hear the adults talking in the background.. and picking up the adult conversation that children dont tune into..
